Scope and Contents
This is a bundle of notebooks (or jotters) in which Mackinnon made notes for his volume on the History of Argyll and the Isles. Each notebook represents a section of his volume; the title of each section being on the front cover of its notebook. Some sections may have been earlier drafts, or were re-written, so more than one notebook may have the same section number,or no section number at all. The sections are listed below:
