This section is an excerpt from the Historia Scholastica by Petrus Comestor. This text is a biblical paraphrase originally written in the 12th century and sometimes called the “Medieval Popular Bible”. This excerpt contains the parables of the Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin, and the Prodigal Son.
It begins on f. 61r and is titled De parabola ovis et dragine et filii prodigi. It starts with the words Cumque scandalizatores parvorum dixisset and ends on f. 62v with the words et ita fiebat.
This section is written in the same hand as the previous sections. It is late 13th-century Gothic.
