This section contains a tract on consciousness by Hugh of Saint Victor, a Saxon theologian writing in the 12th century.
It is titled Tractatus Hugonis de Conscientia in the manuscript, and the text starts on f. 1r with the words Consciencia bona faciunt posteritorum malorum. It ends on f. 9v with ad faciem videre. Amen.
