Tractatus de septem gradibus amoris by Henry of Friemar, 15th century
Contents
This section is titled Tractatus Egregii Doctoris Henrici de Vrimaria de septem gradibus amoris, which suggests that it is a tract on The Seven Steps of Love, by Henry of Freimar. Henry of Freimar was a German Augustinian theologian writing in the 14th century.
This section starts on f. 46r with a prayer beginning Beatus vir cujus est auxilium. The text itself also starts on that folio with the words In verbis propositis gloriosus pater et inclitus doctor Augustinus.
It ends on f. 66r with quem affectum nobis praestare dignetur marie nliusqui est in secula benedictus. Amen. Also on that folio is the explicit, which states Explicit tractatus Magistri Henrici de Vrimaria de septem gradibus amoris.
This section is written in a similar hand to the previous and following sections.
