This anonymous text could be related to an alchemical work on mercuryi attributed to Roger Bacon (1219/20 - 1292), English philosopher and Franciscan friar.

The texts begins on f. 90v and it is introduced by the rubric Aqua congelans mercurium sine sublimatione et aliqua mortificatione. It starts with the words Accipe aquilam volantem; it ends on f. 100v with the words pulverizati ut supra.
