This section contains De studiis et litteris (About Study and Letters) by Italian humanist and historian Leonardo Aretino (commonly known as Leonardo Bruni).
In this manuscript, this text is titled Epistola Leonardi Aretini ad Illustrem mulierem Baptistam de Malatestis, in litteris ac studiis humanitatis facundissima. It starts on f. 56v with the words Compulsus crebro rumore admirabilium virtutum tuarum and ends on f. 67v with adgloriam cohortari Vale. Finis.
This section is in the same hand as the rest of the manuscript. There are some annotations in another hand.
