Alphabet poem, late 15th century
Contents
An alphabet poem (i.e. in which each line of the poem begins with a different letter of the alphabet in order) written in German. It is repeated on f. 108v, seemingly in a different hand.
The poem is on f. 49v and it begins with the verse Alle gut dinck lass dir lip sin; it ends on the same folio with the verse Zu lone salt du das hymelrich gewinnen. Amen. For a complete transcription, see Catherine Borland's catalogue, Appendix IV, p. 335-4.
Since the poem appears on the verso of the De venerabili sacramento altaris, written in 1466, it has been probably added after this date.
