Custodial History
There are no marks of origin or early ownership, but given the style of penwork drawings (described under MS 194/ff. 1-136), this volume is most probably Spanish. Bibliographical notes have been inserted in the 17th century on a fly-leaf at the beginning, and in the margin of f. 1r. The nineteenth-century owner of this manuscript, David Laing's signature is on f. 1r, and a note by him on the facing flyleaf: T. Rodd, 513, Sale No. 362 , indicating that he (Laing) bought this volume at Rodd's Sale.
