Laws of James I of Scotland, 15th century

 part
Identifier: MS 207/ff. 171r-174r

Contents

This section contains the Laws of James I of Scotland. James I was King of Scotland from 1406 to 1437. In this manuscript, his Laws start on f. 171r with Attornatus Generalis, and contain 14 titles. They end on f. 174r with the words super hoc nostrum regiam majestatem.

Another text has been written in a different hand in the margins (see the previous section, MS 207/ff. 169v-174v).

Writing

This section is written in the same hand as most of the rest of the manuscript. The text in the margins is in a different, later hand, similar to that which annotated and added notes after MS 207/ff. 113r-132r, and MS 207/ff. 133r-151v.
