De modo vivendi omnium fidelium by Jean Gerson, early 16th century

A work by the Franch scholar Jean Gerson (1363 - 1429), Chancellor of the University of Paris from 1395 and prominent personality during the Western Schism (1378 - 1417). ('On the way all the faithful should live' is divided in short chapters each addressed to a different category of people (for example, nobles, soldiers, husbands and wives, parents and children and so on) with specific advice for each. The original foliation of the manuscript begins here (partly followed by Catherine Borland in her catalogue).
It begins on f. 10r with the words Incipit tractatus Magistri Johannis de Gerson doctoris Christianissimi ac Cancellarii Parisiensis de modo vivendi omnium fidelium. Ad nobiles consideracio prima. Regula prima que spectat ad nobiles potentes; it ends on f. 18v with Qui hanc regulam secuti fuerint pax super illos et misericordia. Finit.
