Memoriae, early 16th century

Each Memoria is dedicated to a Saint or Martyr. The prayer normally contains details of the life of the Saint to whom each particular Memoria is dedicated. In this manuscript we find: the Guardian Angel (ff. 87v-88v); Saint John the Baptist (ff. 88v-90r); Saint John the Evangelist (ff. 90r-91r); Saint Quirinus (ff. 91r-92r, his cult was particularly strong in Neuss, the area of provenance of the manuscript); Saint Augustine of Hippo (ff. 92r-93v); Saint Anthony the Great (ff. 93v-94r); Saint Katharine of Alexandria (ff. 94r-95r); Saint Anna (ff. 95r-96r); all the saints (ff. 96r-97r).
