Letter of Mardocheus to Alexander the Great, 2nd half of the 15th century

The letter is introduced by the rubric Forma epistole quam mardoceus princeps iudeorum missit Alexandro ipsum a cultura ydolorum cupie(n)s revocare and by a short prologus which begins with Postquam phy(lippus) macedonus universas regiones mundi ad quas pes hominis calcare potest subiugavit and ends with et de greco in latinum translata.
The text of the letter begins on f. 41v with the words Summo principum Alexandro phy(lippi) Mardocenus Iudeorum minimus servitutem diu est and ends on f. 43v with preciosissimos thesauros suos retinet et conservat. Finis deo gratias. Amen.
