Scope and Contents
The items in this series were originally formed of two large composite sheets. The first sheet (Coll-1167/A/7/1-17) contained two double illustrations and 15 single illustrations was dismembered prior to its transfer to the University of Edinburgh Archives and is now made up of one small sheet (containing double illustrations) and one large sheet (cut at left hand side) containing 15 illustrations. The second sheet (Coll-1167/A/7/18-35) was originally one large sheet showing 23 illustrations in total. It was dismembered prior to its transfer to the University of Edinburgh Archives and is now made up of 3 separate sheets, the first and second contain one illustration each, and the third contains 17 illustrations. All cut from various periodicals, undated, unattributed. Listed in Arthur Geddes' 1947 inventory as "H".
