Scope and Contents
D. Forbes for the Secretary, General Board of Control for Scotland, Edinburgh to James R. Motion, Clerk to Glasgow District Board of Control about a cicular from the board which urges that post-mortem examinations be carried out on all patients who die in the asylum whenever the necessary consent can be obtained. If no post-mortem is done a reason should be given for the omission. Where there are no friends or relatives, intact bodies may be handed over to the medical authorities under the Anatomy Act, copy.
