Likely to be a facsimile. Stipple engraving in the same style as item Coll-1167/B/11/2 View of the buildings at the head of Bess Wynd, Forresters, and Turk's Close with the seat of the Tolbooth, 1803. Possibly reproductions of drawings by the Rev. J. Sime published in Thomas George Stevenson's "Edinburgh in the Olden Time" (1880).
