Scope and Contents
2 photographs on card showing the Outlook Tower. The Outlook Tower was acquired in 1892 by Geddes as a centre for postgraduate studies, experimental education, civic improvement etc.. 1. Top. Outlook Tower, Cannonball House, Castlehil, St. John's Tollbooth Church; 2. Bottom. Same view approximately but excluding Cannonball House and showing the south side of Castlehill and reservoir on north side. Geddes stands with a group of children on the left. Note that the war memorial has moved since then to closer to the castle.
