Scope and Contents

Said to be take from Lady Lawson Street near the former Fire Station. The old Cattle Market is in the foreground. Compare print G17. St. Giles' crown is on the left of the chimney, the McEwan Hall dome to the right. The chimney appears in the next print G17. It looks like that of Campbell, Hope anf King's Brewery behind Chambers Street, north side.
