See title on the map, "Plan of Edinburgh, Leith and Portobello, with suburbs" by W & A.K Johnstone, London, 1900-1915. W. & A.K. Johnston published several maps of Edinburgh during a long period. This plan was exhibited in Geddes' "Cities and Town Planning Exhibition." The original map was marked up by Patrick Geddes' eldest son, Alasdair Geddes and the American soap manufacturer Joseph Fels Esq., (1853-1914) showing that 450 unused acres might be utilised. Handwritten title by Mabel Barker.
