Scope and Contents
Possibly looking north towards Crichton Street with the east back of George Square on the left, in which case the lane is the same as that shown the next image in the series (Coll-1167/B/27/18/3) and the mews buildings a continuation of those shown there. The building at the end of the lane shown above is not the same as that shown in Coll-1167/B/27/18/4 which is one story lower. Demolished 1960. Handwritten title on the original envelope containing the corresponding glass plate negatives was written by R. Dykes.
