Salisbury Street from Brown. Salisbury Square is said to be at the right end of the picture. See previous image Coll-1167/B/27/20/8, for the scene on the left of the photographer of this one, Coll-1167/B/27/20/9. The Ordnance Survey Map shows gardens at this point. "Salisbury Street" is marked on it, but not "Salisbury Square". View looking north east. Demolished mid-twentieth century. Handwritten title on the original envelope containing the corresponding glass plate negatives was written by R. Dykes.
