Ford at Roman Bridge, Musselburgh, c 1985
Scope and Contents
In 1910, Musselburgh was quite separate from Edinburgh, with a rural area between it and the outer suburbs at the time. This scene was probably photographed as part of a study of communications and routes around the city. See Coll-1167/B/27/23. Handwritten title on the original envelope containing the corresponding glass plate negatives was written by Alasdair Geddes.
