Scope and Contents
Gloss photographic print showing the interior and plasterwork ceiling of one of the principal drawing rooms which date from 1624. The ceilings consist of the heraldry of the Burnett of Leys family, relations and friends intermixed with biblical iconography. The overmantel of the Great Hall fireplace features the arms of King James VI flanked by Egyptian? figures.
