Scope and Contents
Black and white gloss photographic print with white border, showing view of Dryburgh Abbey from the west and shows the transepts of the abbey of the church. On the left is part of the gable of the north transept, with its aisle and in the centre is the gable of the south transept. To the left is the part of the north wall of the presbytery (east end) of the church. Sir Walter Scott (1771-1832) was buried amongst the ruins.
