Scope and Contents
'This man lives at home, works in the mill, used to be wild about the ladies, gets tight at times. Father was a shepherd, dead. Mother, over 50 had an illegitimate child before marriage. The whole family have a tendency to squint. They were all dull at school but are quite good workers. The are considered generally to be unsatisfactory.'
