Scope and Contents
This series consists of documents relating to Anne Davies's training as a young doctor and medical officers in the mid and late 1940s, in three different hospitals: Royal Hospital for Sick Children (Edinburgh), Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, and St James Hospital (Balham). It is mostly composed of letters of reference for Anne, correspondence, notices, certificates of registration, a perpetual ticket for the Royal Infirmary, fee receipts, class attendance certificates, application documents for a post at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London.
