Scope and Contents
Preliminary material relating to the Brain Injuries Committee (B.I.C.). The material consists of a paper by Geoffrey Jefferson 'on the care of patients with injuries to the head and spine', and on regional neurosurgical centres, dated 2 September 1939, and a letter to Dott regarding the location and frequency of meetings of the Committee. The letter, which is on exercisebook paper, was written 'in air-raid shelter (super-cellar) since 8.0 p.m', undated c November 1940-December 1940, and refers also to Dott's Rockefeller support, air-raids, etc.
