نقل خطوط صاحب کلان Naql-i khuṭūṭ-i Ṣaḥib-i Kalān, 1229-1230 A.H., 1814-1815 C.E.
Scope and Contents
This MS. contains transcriptions of 220 letters, etc., which were sent by Colonel John Baillie, British Resident at Lucknow, between the 24th Rajab, 1229 A.H. (14th July, 1814 C.E.), and the 7th Rajab, 1230 A.H. (16th June, 1815 C.E), to the Nawwāb Vazīr Ghazī al-Dīn Haydar Khān Bahādūr of Oudh. The subjects treated in these letters are more or less similar to those of OR MS 127-135 (see their descriptions). In addition, they contain an account of the war with the Rajah of Nepal and of the battle fought at Shahghat, and a detailed civil list of the Nawwāb of Faisalabad.
