Scope and Contents

These are copies of a collection of letters that were sent to His Majesty Ghazī al-Dīn Haydar Khān Bahādūr, the first King of Oudh, by Colonel John Baillie, British Resident at Lucknow, between the 7th Rajab, 1230 A.H. (16th June, 1815 C.E.), and the 7th Ramaz̤an 1230 A.H. (12th September, 1815 C.E.). Some may be in response to correspondance featured in OR MS 137. This collection is incomplete at the end.
