Scope and Contents
An Ethiopic codex and scroll, together in a small leather pouch.
The codex contains ʾArdǝʾt (‘The Disciples’) a magico-apocryphal text. This is the Christian recension (as opposed to the Beta ʾƎsrāʾel/Ethiopian Jewish recension).
The second item is a protective scroll.

Physical Description
Codex, 69 folios (11.5 by 8 cm), wooden board coptic binding (open spine). Frontispiece in red and black.
The scroll is made from three pieces of rough vellum stitched together and measures a total of 179 by 8.5 cm. It has an illumination top and bottom in read and black, text is also in red and black.
