A transcript of a debate which took place in London, 19th May, 1937 on the question, "should blood sports be abolished?" The chairman of the debate was Maurice Healy and the speakers were (speaking for and against blood sports) Douglas English, Douglas Gordon, Rose Macaulay, S.P.B. Mais.

This debate has been reprinted by the National Council for Animals' Welfare with permission from The Listener and jointly issued by the National Society for the Abolition of Cruel Sports, the National Council for Animals' Welfare, and Our Dumb Friends' League.
