A folder containing leaflets from other animal charities about the treatment of animals held in captivity.

The content of this folder include;

A letter from the RSPCA to Miss Ivory, 18th February 1938, about the RSPCA supplying the SSPV leaflets about circus animals and other posters. A letter from the Performing and Captive Animals' Defence League to Miss Netta Ivory, 7th February 1938, supplying copies of articles on performing animals, such as "Balancing Dog", and "The Case Against Zoos"

Leaflets are published by the RSPCA, Performing and Captive Animals' Defence League, National Council for Animals' Welfare, the Children and Animals' League of Friendship. They cover topics relating to keeping animals in captivity. More specifically, they concern the caging of birds, keeping cats and dogs safe, and keeping wild animals in zoos.
