Letter introduces his account of flints found by men at Fisherton, with accompanying report 'Discovery of Flint Implements in the Drift at Fisherton near Salisbury and at the Hill Head at Fareham'. Three drawings by Blackmore of the flints. Blackmore appears to have published 'Remains of birds' eggs found at Fisherton, Near Salisbury' in the Edinburgh New Philosophical Journal N.S. (1864)
