1-33. Clements Kadalie, National Secretary of the Industrial Workers Union of Africa with Arthur Creech-Jones, Transport Workers Federation. References to a constitution, an application for affiliation to the International Federation of Trade Unions, and the relationship between the South Africa Congress and The ICU.
34-38. Clements Kadalie with Winifred Holtby (copies). Grateful for her support and for her efforts on behalf of the native workers. 1926-1927.
39-41. Clements Kadalie with E. R. Roux (copies). The early letter suggests friendship but in no 41, Kadalie accuses Roux of libel and threatens court action. Advised Roux to read ICU literature because it will prove progress made under the new regime. Kadalie vows he will never join the Communist Party. 20 October 1928.
