Typescript entitled "Modern Painting and the Sciences" by Conrad H. Waddington (alternative title: "Behind Appearance"), including corrections in pen, and black-and-white and colour photographs glued to some pages. Waddington later published it as a book entitled Behind Appearance: Behind Appearance: A Study of the Relations Between Painting and the Natural Sciences in This Century (Edinburgh University Press, 1969).
