Signed the Act of Separation and Deed of Demission. Married, 1845, Mary Bertram Williamson. Dr. Couper gave ministerial service for six months in Canada. The extra-ordinary response of Fife to the Free Church Summons in 1843 was largely owing to Dr. Couper's exertions. Died, 1882."
