These are twenty-three letters sent from Dr Jean Ika Feigelson to Irene J. Young, and one letter sent from Irene to Dr Feigelson.

  1. The twenty-three letters from Dr Feigelson, sent between 1988 and 2010, update Irene on various articles and manuscripts he has published (of which he attaches some copies); responds to Iain's letters including updates on Irene's health and an invitation to Edinburgh; sends Christmas and New Years greetings cards; updates on his work and travels to Russia where he worked on vaccinating children.
  2. The letter from Irene J. Young to Dr Jean Ika Feigelson, sent on 5 November 1988, responds to news of his health and his travels in Russia; describes her own experience of travelling in Russia and her recent trip to Castile.
