Scope and Contents
Chapter removed from unidentified print book, titled 'The Santa Trinita Of La Cava', pp.71-89. Pencil annotation reads 'Extracts from a book of travels in Italy'.
Scott visited La Trinità della Cava during his final tour of continental Europe, autumn 1831-spring 1832. Pencil note laid in reads 'The account of this Monastery in Sir W. Scott's visit to it - last one of his life.'
Adhesive damage to page 90 indicates the chapter was previously pasted to a page and has since been removed.
