Biographical / Historical
Roslin Bio-Med Ltd was formed in 1998 to exploit the Institute's nuclear transfer patents in non-PPL biomedical research areas using farm animals. Roslin Institute and the company 3i had equal major shareholdings until April 1999, when Roslin sold its total shareholding to Geron Corporation.
