Contains correspondence with Beale's students, collaborators and colleagues, including Richard Carter, Jonathan Knowles, Piero Luporini, Lisa Ranford-Cartwright, Tracy Sonneborn, Andrew Tait and Sodsri Thaithong.
In most cases, copies of Beale's replies to the correspondent are present. Beale maintained friendly relationships with many of his students and colleagues, which is reflected in the mix of professional and personal matters present in the correspondence. Much of the later correspondence is in the form of email printouts.
