Scope and Contents
The files contain correspondence with students, professional colleagues and organisations and concern research, Beale's assessments of various papers and articles, his role as a referee and his attendance at various conferences and symposia. Also contains a typed transcript of an oral history interview with Beale, conducted by Nancy Hall of the University of Maryland in 1995. Correspondents include: Michael Banton, Elof Axel Carlson, T.T. Chen, Luca Cavalli-Sforza, J.B. Gurdon, Henry Harris, Akio Miyake and Harry T. Stinson.
