Biographical / Historical
Beale visited the Soviet Union from 11-31 March 1968 as part of an exchange visit of scientists between the Royal Society and the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Beale spent ten days in Moscow, four in Tbilisi and six in Leningrad, visiting various scientific institutions and giving lectures.
