Biographical / Historical
Beale visited Chulalongkorn University as a Royal Society Leverhulme Visiting Professor, with support from the Wellcome Trust, from November 1976 to May 1977. His visit was to obtain first-hand information about malaria and to collect samples of Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax.
