Conditions Governing Access
A number of files are subject to closure periods and these are clearly identified. Files not subject to closure are still subject to normal Data Protection procedures and a form will be require to be signed before access is granted.

Arrangement
These files are arranged according to the filing system devised by Michael Westcott and detailed in his "Report on Survey of File Records, 1709-1996". Files with are arranged into subseries by prefix. For files with no apparent file reference, these have been grouped into an additional subseries "No Original File Reference Present". If absent file references becomes apparent, such files will be relocated as appropriate.
