Authorship is unclear from the content, but the enclosure of bundle 14 part 2 bears the note:
"Rev J. Stuart of Luss
Was Chairman of Church of Scotland Commission
For translation of the Bible"
The enclosure of bundle 15 bears the note:
"This cover is addressed to the Rev. John Stewart of Luss
Care of Rev. John Kemp Edinburgh"
