There is also a birthday card mounted on the front fly-leaf, dated 16 December 1882. Included is a useful later index to the photographs, which identifies the sitters. On the reverse there is the stamp of Joseph Bouhsira, one of the first Moroccan photographers who opened his studio in the Jewish quarter of Fez in the early 1910s.
