The shop front shows the name of "Hutchison, Registered Plumber and Sanitary Engineer" which is listed in the Edinburgh and Lothians Post Office Directory (1910) as being located at 73 Mary's Street. Handwritten title by Alasdair Geddes. A print of this glass plate negative was exhibited in the "Squalor and Romance" section of Geddes' replacement "Cities and Town Planning Exhibition".
