This issue includes: an article in AIDS and poppers; gay prisoners; physical abuse suffered by people leaving Fire Island; the National and Local Government Officers Association's conference; the 1984 election in the United States of America (USA); homosexuality in Germany; an article covering 15 years of the Scottish Homosexual Rights Group (SHRG), formerly Scottish Minorities Group (SMG); a personal account from someone who identifies as a "transvestite/TV"; an article on Edward II; news from the "scene" in scenearound; updates on Lesbian news and groups in Scotland; and book reviews. A special feature on Ireland is also included which discusses a split opinion on the editorial board relating to an earlier article.
