Minutes of the EGS Trust Team Meeting, 16 Feb 1994
Scope and Contents
The minutes begin with a report on a presentation from Lothian and Borders Police concerning the new Lesbian and Gay Police Liaison in the Serious Crimes Squad (Police Scotland Headquarters at Fettes Avenue). There is further discussions concerning public relations and launching the scheme. Concerns amongst members about police and community relationships are also raised and discussed.
Other topics discussed include: call cards; befriending issues concerning a meeting with a disabled client and their support worker; Lesbian Line update; the Annual Conference; membership update; Lothian AIDS Forum and Scottish AIDS Monitor (SAM); request for a spokesperson from Radio Forth; Stonewall Youth Project conducting an exchange with Manchester Youth Project; and statistics.
Also enclosed is a letter to team members requesting nominees for officer positions to be appointed at the Annual General Meeting.
