On the eve of the the UK parliament voting on whether to lower the gay age of consent to age 16, the reverend Bill Wallace stated his opposition to any lowering, citing that less than 1% of people are gay and yet lamenting that they have too much representation in Government.His allegations were refuted as only 2 openly gay cabinet ministers and that, according to the Equality Network, between 4-17% of the population represent as gay.
