Identifier: GD61/11/2/3/16/2
Scope and Contents
Celebrates the very large majority approving the lowering of the gay age of consent in parliament, despite hateful campaigns opposing it and the challengs ahead when it returns to the House of Lords. Critical of the lack of demonstrations outside parliament by gay rights groups, but welcomed the support form anti Pinochet Chile protesters who voiced examples of the abuse of gay people in their country under the dictator's regime.
